Welcome to Bedale Museum
Welcome to the official website of the Bedale Museum.
The museum is housed in the Georgian wing of Bedale Hall. On show are many items originating from local donations, and the museum has grown to become a collection of "bygones" which now includes tools, lamps, record books, accounts and wartime memorabilia.
Pride of place and the original inspiration for the museum is an ancient wooden fire engine dating from 1748.
Entrance to the Museum free and is open (subject subject to available volunteers) between the months of March/April (after Easter) and September at the following times:
